Ben Simon-Thomas – founded Upaya Services, a social media consultancy that provides skillful advice and hands-on training to non-profits, start-ups and established business clients. Upaya’s approach focuses on crafting great content in the form of narratives, and on delivering valuable information and resources to communities through social media channels. Ben knows creative ways to access or acquire resources others think impossible. Upaya applies a start up mentaility to social media outreach.
Neil Soni – An entrepreneur who enjoys helping other companies achieve success, Neil has a passion for social media, marketing, and customer engagement. His current start-up, The College People is currently in Beta and was recently accepted to the i6 Agile Innovation System, a U.S. Department of Commerce challenge to encourage rapid innovation cycles in start-up companies. When Neil is not busy working with clients, he can be found playing sports (especially tennis and basketball), spending time with close friends and family, and listening to/talking about music.
Wen Duan – Wen designs and maintains a variety of websites for Upaya clients. In her spare time she also writes for LividLobster.tv and writes about about tech trends and news.
Scott McGregor – Scott has managed new product innovation for Hewlett-Packard, Intuit, Sybase, PlaceWare (now part of Microsoft), and over a dozen Silicon Valley Start-ups.
